Product and Enterprise Experience
I bring enterprise BI and IT infrastructure experience to business analysis, product development and consulting. I enjoy investigating complex problems, testing possible causes and identifying practical improvements.

How I work
- At Ellucian, I led diagnosis of reporting and analytics issues, translated findings into requirements and validation steps, and developed and tested corrective actions before directing client implementation, working with product, engineering and DBA partners.
- I performed product testing and bug diagnosis, documenting research, test results, and proposed fixes in change and enhancement requests to guide development.
- My technical experience includes working with SAP BusinessObjects and SQL, troubleshooting ETL issues, and configuring and troubleshooting data transformations.
- I delivered client consulting for reporting-server migrations and SAP BusinessObjects BI upgrades, working directly with SAP support to investigate platform issues and clarify deployment requirements.
- I wrote and maintained technical documentation and knowledge resources for reporting and analytics.

Selected outcomes
Reporting performance turnaround (Ellucian)
In one dashboard recovery, I isolated a database bottleneck through platform trace analysis and collaborated with DBAs on index optimization. Together with engineering, we reduced load times from roughly 10 minutes to under 60 seconds across about 15 decision-critical dashboards.
MVP scope alignment (JodyInk / product consulting)
I ran research and requirements workshops, translated findings into scoped deliverables, and prioritized release phases. The workshops aligned about five stakeholder groups on minimum viable product (MVP) scope in roughly two planning sprints and reduced pre-build scope churn by about 40%.
AI-assisted research and documentation (JodyInk)
I designed reusable workflows using structured prompts, templates, and source checks, with responsibility for the final outputs. The workflows reduced turnaround for decision-ready artifacts from roughly 2–3 days to same-day delivery.
